The race from Eppan to the Mendel Pass - a racing bike race for amateurs - has been part of the South Tyrolean race series "Südtirol.Berg.Cup" since the first edition in 2016. This race is always held at the beginning of the season in April and enjoys great popularity and a steadily high number of participants every year. The cooperation and support of Arthur Röggl and the entire Sanvit team also makes this an important event in Eppan.

After the race - as well as the complete series of the Südtirol.Berg.Cup - had to be cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid 19 crisis and the subsequent restrictions, the race was continued again in 2022. And at the 6th edition in 2023, a new course record was achieved in both the men's and women's races!

Plans are also already underway for the 7th edition, which will take place on Saturday 13 April 2024.
