MTB race in Isera

Last weekend, our team took part in an MTB race in Isera near Rovereto (BZ).
On a rather demanding 10 km course, which had to be circumnavigated several times, our athletes were once again able to put in a good performance.
Klaus Ebner took 6th place in the 19 to 29 age group, confirming his improving form. Stefan Kraner worked his way up to 3rd place in the 29 to 34 age group after a mediocre start, once again proving his fighting qualities. Albert Rinner, who started in the veterans' category, was unlucky on Sunday. Lying in 2nd place, he had to let his competitors pass him with a puncture. Johanna Ambach, who was in the lead, missed the very badly marked course twice and ultimately had to settle for 3rd place.

Road classic Trento-Bolzano

On the previous Sunday, some of our riders took part in the Trient-Bolzano road classic, the finish of which was moved to Montiggl this year for traffic reasons. Albert Rinner crossed the finish line in third place in his category. Marcello Paternoster, Johann Telfner and Klaus Ebner also managed to finish at the front of the field.

This coming Whitsun weekend, we will be organising the long-announced and now traditional cycle tour to Jesolo and back. As well as being great fun, this is the best way to put the finishing touches to your fitness. But be careful, you can also run the risk of burning yourself out for the rest of the season. That's why it's imperative to be very economical with your reserves. Our biggest concern this year is once again the weather. Hopefully it won't go too crazy. Should anyone (including non-members) decide to join us at the very last minute, he or she can always join us. We will decide where and when to start on Friday evening in the wine terrace.
As an afterthought to the Kaltern MTB Cup, we would also like to thank Clazzer Sport for their support. Unfortunately, we did not mention them in the long list by mistake.
