MTB South Tyrol Cup 1994 in Niederdorf-Villabassa (Pustertal Valley)

The third round of this race series was held on a very selective course in Niederdorf-Villabassa in the Pustertal Valley.
The results of our bikers was just as successful as the previous Sunday in Wiesen Pfitsch. Johanna Ambach and Arthur Röggl once again dominated the women's racing class and the veterans' hobby class. Manuel Scola and Julian Inama took 2nd and 3rd place in the junior hobby class. Martin Giovanazzi came 13th in the hobby seniors, Andreas Hofer 15th, Manfred Scherer 17th and Günter Bertignoll 21st. In the veteran racing class, our riders Albert Rinner and Hans Dieter Rohde were once again clearly ahead. They took first and second place. This time, Stefan Kraner was relegated to the senior racing class due to a somewhat dubious interpretation of the rules, where he finished 20th.
It seems logical that we were also able to win the team trophy thanks to these performances. Will we be able to repeat this in Antholz in a fortnight's time? We are definitely confident.
