Podium finish for Alexander Zelger in Brentonico

At the 22nd mountain time trial from Mori to Bretonico on 9 May, the strong athlete from Monte San Pietro/Aldino finished in 3rd place. The course was 7.2 km long and there were 500 metres of altitude difference to cover.
There were 108 runners at the start. The victory went to Stefano Fatone in 19 minutes and 24 seconds, while Alexander Zelger reached the finish line in 19 minutes and 34 seconds.

Also at the start were Dynamic Bikers Philipp Raffeiner (15th place) and Michael Santa (46th place).
"My form is good, now we have to fine-tune it," said Alexander, who will be one of the favourites at the 3rd Marcialonga-Cycling in Predazzo on 31 May.
