MTB Youth Italy Championship XCO 2011 in Odolo (BS)

Last weekend, the Italian Youth MTB Cross-Country Championships took place in Odolo (BS).

Over 400 athletes from 16 regions of Italy presented themselves under the watchful eye of the national coach Hubert Pallhuber. From our DynamicBike youth group 7 athletes took part. In extremely hot summer temperatures, the boys and girls of our team rode a good race on the 4.3 km long course. Very pleasing was the great 2nd place (and thus Vice-Italian Champion) of Nina Jocher (Pupils female B) and the very good 4th place of Andrea Dori (Youth male B). Furthermore Denise Meraner with a 7th and Birgit Ebnicher with a 12th place (both youth female A), a 39th place each by Moritz Giuliani (youth male A) and by Lukas Überbacher (pupil male B), and place 54 by Maximilian Knoll (pupil male B).
For the Dynamic Bike Team this means 5th place in the overall standings, and at the same time the best South Tyrolean team.
