8th Nordic Uphill Competition

This year, ASV Vöran organised the 8th edition of the popular mountain run with poles.
The more than 300 participants had to complete the Sunnseitn-Steig (4.65 km, 925 metres in altitude) from the cable car valley station in Burgstall up to the Vöran village square. The start was at 10 a.m. in 20-second intervals. There were 8 athletes from the Dynamic Bike Team, and they all did well. First and foremost Werner Morandell, who was the fastest of the bunch in a very good 41.17,9 min.
The race was won by the two top favourites Philipp Götsch (SC Tirol, 33.19,8 min) and Edeltraud Thaler (Telmecom Team Südtirol, 43.22,4 min).
