TOUR Transalp 2019 - stage #6

Aprica -> Ossana

This was the shortest stage of the TOUR Transalp 2019, but therefore still far from a ride: the Mortirolo Pass had to be climbed right at the beginning a total of three times, in addition, there was the ascent from the western side to the Passo del Tonale. And also today no cloud clouds clouded the sky...
The anger about yesterday's mishap (Richard's flat tire a few kilometers before the finish) was soon forgotten; it was important to keep the good starting position until the finish.
This was partially successful: our duo from Team Kaltern am See reached the finish in Ossana / Val Di Sole after 3 hours 4 minutes as 6th in the Grand Masters category. Richard and Christian were thus able to keep the 4th place in the category ranking.

Tomorrow, Saturday, at 9 am, the starting signal is given for the 7th and last stage of the Tour Transalp 2019! There are another 100 kilometers with 2,300 meters of altitude to cover, with the crossings over the Passo Campo Carlo Magno (1,702 m), the Passo Daone (1,300 m) and the Passo Durone (1,014 m), before the participants can take their first look at the finish area around Lake Garda. From Lago di Tenno it is then about 10 kilometers to Riva del Garda, where our guys - of course we assume - will be celebrated as successful finishers after almost 800 kilometers and more than 18,000 meters of altitude!
