Michael Spögler wins solo and defends his title / Christina Rausch also repeats her victory from 2019

For the rest of the group, including three-time winner Andrea Zamboni and many other mountain specialists, there was nothing to be gained: Spögler (ASC Sarntal) decided the race 2 kilometres before the finish when he was able to break away from Franz Wieser (Rodes Val Badia), who had been leading the race with Spögler until then, with one of his attacks. Third place for another mountain specialist, Simone Capelli from Team Lundici squadra corse.
Zamboni wins the ‘DigiSprint’ sprint classification after 4 kilometres of racing, but has nothing more to do with the final result.
In the women's race, the German Christina Rausch (Unter - Brao Caffè) had no rivals and repeated her victory from 2019: she won by 13 minutes ahead of her compatriot Rike Fänger (Alpecin Ride Club) and the Ukrainian Olena Barabash (Giuliani Cicli Arco).
