The official MTB racing season ended for our youngsters last weekend (we reported ->).
But that doesn't mean that the bikes have to be locked up in the basement for the winter.

The pleasant autumn weather still allows for extended tours in the mountains - and also exciting trail rides, such as last Sunday when the South Tyrol Cup group took a trip to Welschnofen to the Carezza Trail.

The club bus took us to the car park in Welschnofen, and from there we took the cable car up to almost 2,000m ... there we were greeted by the start of a great biking experience: trails with steep bends, bridges, jumps and north shores awaited us over a length of almost 7 km; right through the forest and along a mountain stream.
In between, we took a breather with refreshments at the Messnerjoch mountain hut before continuing down the mountain again.

After more than 3 hours of descents with a total of 4,000 metres of depth, even the coolest bike day comes to an end. But this was not our last visit ...
