Dynamic bikers achieve strong results at the final of the South Tyrol.Berg.Cup on the Jaufenpass/Passo Giovo

Gasteig and the Jaufenpass were the scene of the finale of this year's race series for mountain bikers last Saturday:
after the MendelRace (15 April) and the Edelrot Trophy (13 May), the best mountain bikers determined the overall winner and the fastest in the individual categories - and at the same time those of the South Tyrolean national champions - in the third and final encounter at the M2Bike Trophy.

From the Dynamic Bike Team there were 3 athletes who were placed in the top ranks of the respective age groups, and thus had a chance to win the coveted red jersey.
At the race itself, the team was made up of five members: club champion Christian Resch, Andreas Kofler, Markus Götsch, Thomas Grüner and Valentin Riegler. Unfortunately, Luis Meraner was unable to take part due to a death in the family, and we extend our deepest sympathy to him at this point.
At 14.8 km, the course was similar in length to that of the MendelRace, but offered a much steeper challenge for the athletes with 1,118 metres of altitude. And once again it was club champion Christian Resch who was the fastest among the Dynamic Bikers with a time of 49.45,1 min: he finished in 13th place with this time and was thus able to secure the overall victory in the Master 4 category - Berg-Landesmeister 2023!
The Psairer Markus Götsch (51.33,9 min; 4th place Master 4) followed in 19th place of the race, behind him in 23rd place with Valentin Riegler (52.28,5 min; 3rd place Master 6) the next mountain national champion of the Dynamic Biker on this day!
The great team result - with a sprint to the finish - was rounded off by Andi Kofler (55.01,1 min; 4th place Master 6) and Thomas Grüner (55.01,7 min; 6th place Master 5) with their places 32 and 33 of the race at the Jaufenpass.

The local hero and favourite of the race, Thomas Gschnitzer from Sterzing, mastered the Jaufenpass the fastest. He needed 44.42,5 min for his victory at the Jaufenpass and thus relegated the Italian Alessandro Sogne (Brao Caffè Unterthurner; 46.07,8 min) and the German Dennis Biederer (Radteam Impuls e.V. ; 46.20,8 min) to the places. In the women's category Annalisa Adami (Bici e Sport) won in a time of 1h00.39,5 followed by the two Germans Daniela Kratzer (Next Level Racing; 1:02.23,4 h) and Manuela Hartl (Team Cookina Graz; 1:04.16,2 h).
