Annual General Meeting of the Dynamic Bike Team Eppan ASV

It was that time again: on Friday 17 February, starting at 7.30 pm, this year's General Assembly took place at the Tannerhof in Girlan/Eppan.

Approximately 60 members responded to the call. The meeting began with a reminder of the terrible accidental death of children's coach Patrick Bernard, and was observed with a minute's silence.
President Andreas Pichler then began with the activity report and a review of the past season. Shortly before that, the representative of the municipality of Eppan, Deputy Mayor and Sports Officer Massimo Cleva, was welcomed, who briefly thanked the club and addressed a few words to the club.

The review offered the members present an overview of the youth work, the children's taster course, the adult racing teams (road bike and MTB enduro) and the races organised by the Dynamic Bike Team. Furthermore, all the successes achieved by the DBT athletes - victories and podium finishes - were listed.

The cash report of the financial officer Lorenz Psaier followed, who presented an overview of expenses and income, which was checked by the designated auditor Max Niedermayr and confirmed to be complete. Lorenz was discharged by the members.

This was followed by a preview of planned events for the current year, such as the annual "Season Opening" bike ride to Lake Garda on Easter Monday, the Mendel Race on 15 April, and the traditional club race and barbecue on 15 August.

The next item on the agenda was various information concerning the association: it was about the reform of the third sector, due to which the association will present itself in future as a pure "amateur sports association", which will result, among other things, in the allocation of a VAT number. Furthermore, the association would like to obtain recognition as a legal entity (in order to separate the association's assets from the private assets of the members), which was decided immediately afterwards by a vote of the members present.

The last point of the speech - before the joint dinner could begin - was then the presentation of the new graphics of the team uniforms together with their sponsors and advertising partners: for the next 3 years the Eppaner Radclub will receive financial support from Bautechnik, Psenner Jungpflanzen, Eleplan Meraner as well as Peer GmbH . Together with the sponsors Sanvit / Möbel Planer / DigiPrint / Raiffeisenkasse Überetsch, this enables the club to continue to invest a lot in youth work and to offer its members an attractive annual programme. Andreas Pichler thanked the present representatives of the companies for their trust and support and is looking forward to a long and good cooperation with the committee and coaches. He then thanked all those present and wished them a healthy, injury-free season and a pleasant evening, which was to end with dinner together.
