MTB Marathon on Lake Garda: the Bardolino Bike

This year again at the beginning of the season, on Sunday 12 March to be precise, the MTB Marathon of the same name took place in Bardolino on Lake Garda.
As every year, there are two routes to choose from: the Classic with 40 km and 1,000 metres of altitude difference, and the Marathon with 68 km and 1,600 metres of altitude difference.

From Dynamic Bike Team only U23 racer Gregor Pinggera was at the start this year, he had to compete with the ELITE riders on the long distance. His goal: to deliver a good race at the beginning of the season ... and a race time under 3 hours. And he succeeded with an extremely good result. He improved his time from the previous year by more than three quarters of an hour (!), and reached the finish line in 54th place after 2h58 minutes (37th place in the OPEN category, 10th fastest U23).
