Gran Fondo Strade Bianche

9/3/2025

10th Gran Fondo Strade Bianche 2025 in Siena (SI)

The ‘Strade Bianche 2025 Weekend’ in Tuscany began on Saturday, 8 March with a repeat of the previous year's victory by Slovenian world road champion Tadej Pogačar in the men's race, and with the victory of Dutchman Demi Vollering, the current vice world champion in the individual time trial.

On the following Sunday 9 March, it was the turn of the amateurs.

At the 10th edition of the ‘southernmost northern classic in Europe’, as the race is called, 6,500 starters ventured out on one of two routes:
one chose between the long route of 137.7 km (2,000 metres altitude; 9 gravel sections for a total length of 42 km) or the slightly shorter route of 87 km (1,350 metres altitude; 6 gravel sections for a total length of 21 km).

The Eppan Dynamic Bike Team was very well represented this year:
with Manuel and Moritz Giuliani and Manuel Enderle on the short route, and Lorenz Psaier, Emma and Elmar Egger, Lorenz Röggl and Simon Saltuari on the long route.
